De aanloop naar het paasfeest gaat op school niet zomaar voorbij. Er is Pasen zelf, de paasvakantie, soms zelfs een blok- en examenperiode en wie weet ook veel chocolade paaseitjes.
Twee weken paasvakantie
De paasvakantie duurt twee weken, maar de startdatum durft al eens te veranderen. Dat heeft te maken met op welke zondag Pasen zelf valt. Dat is elk jaar anders. Dit jaar start de paasvakantie op 30 maart 2024.
Pasen en paasmaandag zijn feestdagen
Pasen is in de eerste plaats een christelijke feestdag waarop gelovigen de herdenking van Jezus vieren. Toch zijn het vooral de paashaas, paasklokken en natuurlijk de paaseitjes die bij je leerlingen het populairst zullen zijn. Veel kinderen rapen op die feestdag eitjes in de tuin om ze dan op paasmaandag, ook een feestdag, lekker op te smullen.
