Logic: Students workpiece didactic views

Three students were instructed to write formal logic around a workpiece.
They are students of the sixth grade math ASO six hours a week.
The job itself is very meaningful for us.

The workpiece in a pre-submission phase happens in our hands and it came with a request to check on improvement suggestions to the students before they hand it over to the maths teacher.

We copy the resulting introduction and the decision each in two versions:
1. The original text pupils (Original Version)
2. Our rewritten text. (Rewritten version)

INTRODUCTION

1. Original Version
Logic is an important part of mathematics, which also occurs in our daily lives. Our course of action is largely in logical reasoning. Therefore, there are many mathematicians who are resigned to the study of logic. It all began in ancient times, the Greek philosophers, who have laid down the basic rules. Now there are a large number of propositions and rules invented by various mathematicians. The most important ones we have discussed in this work. We also tried to clarify the principles of logic and this in a way that would be also for people who are less easily handle the math accessible.

2. Rewrite
Logic is an important part of mathematics and they also play a role in our daily lives.
Many expressions of our actions in life support on logical reasoning. Hence, many mathematicians have applied themselves to the study of logic. Those interested in logic is already in antiquity among Greek philosophers, that the basic rules of discipline that have defined. A large number of institutions and rules were drawn up by various mathematicians. The most important are discussed in this work. We attempt here to the principles of logic and to clarify that in a way that allows intelligibility in people who are less easily cope with mathematics.

DECISION

1. Original Version
In this' adventure in the world of logic we have treated most basic aspects and we went there a bit deeper. We have the aspects of the logic to try to clarify for people without a mathematical background. Wo hope that this was sufficient to explain the basic concepts and rules and verduideljken

2. Rewrite
In the 'adventure in the world of logic we discussed the basic aspects and what we are discussed in more detail. We are trying to clarify for people without much mathematical background. We hope with this text in that intent to have succeeded.

From these texts we can certainly draw conclusions didactic.

1. Rewriting of the texts was necessary. This command gives opportunity to reformulate, to reformulate adequately. Herformuleringsopdrachten first versions of texts students should be conducted to learn articulate. Truly effective ideas often

2. This would help establish links between the intervention of the teacher and math teacher Dutch. In any case would have to be acquired skill in formulating the Dutch lessons for the application of acquired skills in mathematics lessons. Worked
The transfer requirement is abundantly clear here.
By agreement of both the teacher Dutch specialist teachers would be able to control that the instruction of the assignment the teacher math clearly the adequacy of the wording of the passages in the elaboration of the task as an assessment criterion is included.
Thus we obtain a form of developing language teaching.

3. For the evaluation would be in this situation in the first three students in the mathematics teacher should be advised of the importance of the effectiveness of putting into words the ideas on the basis of concrete ideas here from introduction and conclusion.
This could also class in math class with the whole class could see. The need to adequately formulate

4. In the overall communicative learning situation, we recommend you charge circumstantial factors here:
- Students are very responsible for study assignments
- Teachers are limited in their evaluation possibilities

Yet here just learning efficiency to be expected as both the content to the theme itself and the mathematical implications of this theme as well as the full linguistic implications are discussed.
Language Development professional education here in the classroom instructor of this the optimal method of approach.
