Marta was a young Jewish girl from Czortkow, Poland. At the age of eight she was sent by her mother to a non-Jewish family in Warsaw to have to live under an assumed identity. After the Holocaust Marta immigrated to Israel and began, despite many setbacks, build. To a new life Today Marta Goren a grandmother and she lives in Rehovot, Israel. In this memoir Marta tells about the experiences of her childhood, before, during and after the Holocaust.
